I’m Nan, a digital illustrator based in the Canary Islands. I began creating digital illustrations in 2015, but I started publishing them online in 2020.
I began learning traditional art techniques in private academies at the age of 6.
I entered the Fernando Estévez School of Art and Higher Design and took a Medium Degree Cycle of Calcographic Engraving.
I also did a year of Mural Covering (also a Medium Degree Cycle). A year later, I did a Higher Degree Cycle of Illustration at the same school, while also getting my C2 in English at the Official School of Languages of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
I am currently studying Fine Arts at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
My illustrations have appeared in the projects ‘Ilustradoras & Ilustradas’, in their first, second, fourth, and fifth editions. Being part of both the exhibitions and the publication derived from each of them.
I have participated in Artists Alley fairs in the Canary Islands and the rest of Spain. Some events I have participated in are the Japan Weekend de Madrid and the Festival del Manga de LPGC.
I created a graphic novel for a local museum, Casa Museo Cayetano Gómez Felipe, about the life and history of Cayetano Gómez Felipe, and I do commissions for personal use.
